This is like an intermission between writing blogs behind the scenes.
First-
I won't claim to be a Lana Del Rey fan by any means, but I'll give anyone a fair shot.
Honestly, I feel like her sound is shit sometimes. Yeah, I'm a little torn up over it, I can't decide.
However, I also feel that like myself, she is slightly bipolar of sorts.
This- is beautifully made.
The black and white was ingenious,
I love the contrast, and I love the parallel with the alligators.
If she's do more of this, and less of that other crap, I could love her more.
Next-
It's no secret I love Foster the People.
Their album Torches has been in my CD player of my truck
since september, I only take it out to alternate it with the Ceremonials album by Florence,
and yes thats the deluxe edition.
So Houdini has been on of my favorite songs since I heard it,
and that's only amplified by the clever new video they've made to go with it-
This song makes me go into involuntary dance convulsions I love it so much,
it's like musical possession of my veins and I just have to start thrashing around until it's over.
One of my favorite things about this band is their videos are hilarious,
make a valid point and are mostly just awesome.
Which makes them totally worth watching.
And just because I am talking about Foster the People,
here's another favorite if your really bored,
I love that they aren't afraid to be the punch line of their own music,
most artists want to glorify their selves in their videos-
This band totally just got their asses handed to them by a bunch of kids.
And here's that acoustic business, just to prove they aren't just wacky-
Ok so this got a little bit outta hand,
I'm not sorry.
I just now saw your tag in that post, so first and foremost, let me advise you that I read this a while back and I can't get over how totally tubular your taste in music is. If we ever hang out and listen to jams, I foresee a spazztastical dance sesh coming into play. Haha, I don't really do the whole blollowing thing---that is, follow blogs, but you're the exception. Baybay, youcraycray... as my fellow ghetto officers might say ;)
